Contribute to my "Can Money Buy Happiness?"
Just want to you dance with the world and forget about the price tag, at least for a little while ^^
"Why is everybody so serious Acting so damn mysterious Got your shades on your eyes And your heels so high That you can't even have a good time"
I will not doubt that most people are living under pressure today. Most of times people “equip themselves by money” just because they want to get respect from others. Sadly, they don’t know the right way to do it. Some times people get hurt from love, study, family and so on. Hence, they are afraid to trust people so that they changed their focus on money. One is happy or not, or what will make him happy, which is only known by him.
"Why is everybody so obsessed, Money can't buy us happiness." -- I wonder the very same thing and also question myself the very same question. If money doesn't buy you happiness or you can have happiness without having money, then why would we need to be so obsessed about it. I'm not going to reject that money can't buy happiness, but I do think that it is essential for living and somehow for achieving what many claim "happiness."
"Can we all slow down and enjoy right now, Guarantee we'll be feeling Alright." -- Like the lyrics said, sometime it might be great to just leave the worldly desire alone and enjoy everything around us because what matters to eyes doesn't always mean it will be matter for heart. Why not enjoy life as it is and do the best for today? I'm not telling you to be over-optimistic, but to try think less pessimistic.
I think money brings us happiness. Without money, our lives wouldn't be comfortable. We wouldn't be able to afford good food, clothes, and many facilities such as electric, car, air conditioner, etc.
Why do we try to find jobs if it doesn't gives us money? And why do we need money if it cannot bring us happiness? So, think about it. Money CAN bring us happiness.
However, money can bring us suffering as well if we don't spend it properly such as spending money on gambling and lost. Another example is when one is greedy. The greediness can bring the richest person down to a beggar as in Thai folktale.
I personally think money can buy happiness. I spend money to what we want. If I have money, I can spend as much as we can. Money can make everything and fulfil one's dream. That's why people nowadays have to work hard for money or wish to win lottery. Yet, people should know how to use money in the right way. They should control themselves when they spend money. If people spend money carelessly, it can turn happiness to sadness.
