Happy Earth Day!

Today Starbucks is giving free coffee to everyone who bring their own mug to the shop to encourage people to help save trees.

The campaign is to promote Earth Day to among Starbucks' customers for all over the world to help reduce the collective environtmental footprint by encouraging them to bring their own cup of coffee and get a free brewed coffee.

I'm one of those who always use my own mug to buy coffee from coffee shop and I will sure join the Earth Day campaign with Starbucks. Not only because I can have a free cup of coffee, but because I know that togther we can help save forests. The more people help promoting and participating the event, the greater current of concern about our earth can be expressed to others.

If you find out about the event too late, don't worry. You can help save the world anywhere and anytime. Perhaps, start by using your own cup to buy coffee; so you don't have to buy abottle of water or get a paper cup of hot coffee. By doing so, it helps reduce the use of paper cup and safe for your health because you don't have a risk to be sick from any contamination possibly found in the container.

This is only one of many ways to make Mother Earth happy :)

  1. I do not know today is the Earth Day until I see the logo on the Google website. I am happy that Starbuck has a good campaign, which concerning about the earth. I do not drink coffee, but I always bring my own mug to buy soft drinks, such as Coca-Cola. There are many ways to save the environment, but we have to do it right now, not just saying it.

  2. I think that is a good campaign but like Kamonkan, I do not drink coffee as well. Therefore, saving the environments of this campaign do not work for me. However, I always help the world to reduce using plastic regularly such as when I buy any soft drinks, I will not use straws or I will not ask for covers of the cup that made from plastics. Sometimes I will not use plastic bags if I buy a few things. Although, the ways I save the world are not big matters. It is just a little things but I am satisfied that I am the one who help saving the environments already.
